Intake Care Coordinator
**Standard hours are 11:30am - 8:00pm EST**
** Training schedule for the first 2 weeks of employment is 8am- 4:30pm EST**
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To accurately set up new orders into the operating system and provide support to our clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sets up and enters new claims into claims management system.
- Enters claims data into the claims management system upon requesting the appropriate information and analyzing the responses.
- Makes outbound calls to claimant and/or client to obtain new claim details and receives inbound calls.
- Finds opportunities to refer claims within the organization.
- Assigns claims using the tools provided.
- Supports claims staff by providing accurate information during the claim set up process.
- Sets up Quotashare claims.
- Assists with creating documentation and processes to streamline workflow.
- Reviews daily reports to ensure claims are processed.
- Assists with file reviews to ensure accurate set ups.
- Uses multiple platforms to look for adjusters to assign claims
- Makes outbound call and/or text to adjusters to discuss claim details for assignment. (Using Sedgwick's texting platform)
- Ensure all parties have the required information in order to successfully manage a claim, including, loss location, notice of loss (NOL), fee schedule, etc.
- Works with management to make determination on assignment process and resources used.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
- Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
Two (2) years of clerical or property claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Skills & Knowledge
- Fluent in Spanish preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $13.81- $19.33 per hour . A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
