With 200 offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh (NYSE: MRSH).
Applicants must be within driving distance to our Alpharetta, GA office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to the office a minimum of three days per week.
A day in the life.
As a Human Resources Operations Specialist, you will:
- Manage HR systems and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records, compliance with data protection regulations, and timely reporting.
- Develop an innovative and impactful operations function within HR.
- Support and organize inclusive team and social events to build a strong culture.
- Process employee data change tracking, colleague transfers, and maintain accurate employee files and documentation.
- Support the design, monitor, and improve HR processes, policies, and technologies.
- Assist with backing up payroll administration which includes processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Serves as the super-user for all HR Systems; runs the appropriate reports and pulls team member data when needed.
- Support HR team with system training, troubleshooting, and user support to ensure efficient use of HR systems and tools.
- Support HR policies and procedures change, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices, and communicate updates to employees as needed.
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management and employee engagement by providing administrative and operational assistance.
- Conduct quarterly audits of HR data and processes to identify and address discrepancies, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Assist with HR reporting and analytics, compiling data, generating reports, and analyzing trends to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Manage HR communications across the organization to ensure clarity and alignment with HR initiatives.
- Occasionally assists the Senior Leadership Team with ad hoc request.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing information, guidance, and support on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Develop and oversee the planning, coordination, and management of the summer internship program.
- Facilitate and manage internal and external colleague transfer processes.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in HR systems and software, such as HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- SHRM certification or HR-related certifications a plus.
