Partner, Total Rewards - Enterprise ClientsAs a member of a top industry team, the Partner, Total Rewards - Enterprise Clients will support Aon's biggest and most complex clients. They deliver creative and commercially impactful solutions through our Talent Solutions practice. Serving as a senior client advisor and growth leader, the Partner will craft reward strategies for global and enterprise-scale organizations. These strategies will address complex, cross-border business issues and promote significant revenue growth for Aon across regions and solution lines.
The colleague would ideally be in one of these locations in the United States, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C.
Role Overview
The Partner, Total Rewards - Enterprise Clients leads client relationships and cross-functional teams to resolve complex business challenges. They rely on sophisticated analytical tools, benchmarking data, and extensive market insight. The successful candidate brings a strategic and commercial viewpoint to enterprise-wide concerns, including global reward strategy, governance, and M&A-related tasks. They will be accountable for initiating and growing large, multi-year client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Enterprise-Scale Total Rewards Strategy
- Serve as the senior advisor to CHROs, C-suite executives, and Boards of large, complex organizations on global total rewards strategy, development, and governance.
- Build total rewards roadmaps that address talent needs, regulatory environments, and workforce segments while linking rewards to enterprise strategy and performance.
- Guide clients in harmonizing reward philosophies and programs across business units, geographies, and legacy platforms, particularly in the context of transformation and M&A.
Solve Complex, Multi-Business and Global Rewards Challenges
- Lead diagnostic efforts that cover several regions and business units, addressing enterprise-level challenges such as global competitiveness, pay equity, cost optimization, and workforce transformation.
- Develop coordinated solutions that encompass executive, broad-based, sales, and global mobility rewards, as well as benefits, well-being, and recognition, ensuring a coherent enterprise narrative.
- Help clients navigate trade-offs among shareholder expectations, regulatory requirements, employee experience, and budget constraints, using scenario analysis and financial modeling at scale.
Enterprise-Level Reward Insights and Research
- Coordinate the design and delivery of employee-focused reward surveys tailored for large, distributed workforces, including conjoint and non-conjoint approaches that account for regional and segment differences.
- Direct teams to segment insights by geography, business line, job family, and talent populations, informing reward strategies.
- Integrate survey findings with other enterprise data sources (e.g., engagement, attrition, performance, DEI metrics, market and regulatory data) to support complete workforce and rewards decisions.
Turn Insights into Scalable Reward Strategies and Operating Models
- Lead the translation of complex data into clear, prioritized enterprise strategies for improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and perception of rewards.
- Advise on reward architectures, job frameworks, and governance models that enable consistency where it matters and flexibility where it contributes.
- Partner with communication and change experts to craft global reward communication strategies that can be cascaded and tailored locally while maintaining alignment to the enterprise story.
Advanced Metrics, Governance, and Analytics for Enterprise Clients
- Define reward efficiency and governance frameworks suitable for global organizations, including metrics and dashboards that provide insight for Board, C-suite, regional, and HR leadership.
- Help clients develop balanced analytics capabilities for tracking competitiveness, DEI, pay equity, financial impact, and efficiency across markets and business units.
- Promote the use of advanced analytics, workforce modeling, and scenario planning to support strategic decisions on investment, portfolio shifts, and large-scale organization changes.
Drive Growth Across Enterprise Accounts and Portfolios
- Manage a portfolio of global and enterprise-scale accounts, serving as the main strategic consultant and aligning Aon's presence across regions and solution lines.
- Proactively identify cross-practice and cross-regional opportunities, bringing together Total Rewards, M&A, Communication, and other Aon capabilities to deliver coordinated solutions.
- Lead the pursuit and closing of complex, multi-year engagements, including global frameworks, managed services, and multi-country implementation projects.
- Partner closely with Global/Enterprise Client Leaders to develop account plans, carry out growth strategies, and meet or exceed sales, revenue, and profitability targets at the enterprise level.
Lead and Grow Global, Multi-Disciplinary Teams
- Lead project teams across geographies and time zones, ensuring alignment, quality, and a seamless client experience.
- Mentor and develop colleagues in working with enterprise clients, including skills in managing global collaborators, cross-cultural collaboration, and complex program delivery.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and innovation that brings to bear subject-matter experts from across Aon to solve client challenges.
Market Presence and Enterprise Thought Leadership
- Represent Aon in the enterprise market by participating in industry forums, client roundtables, and executive briefings on global total rewards, workforce trends, and human capital strategy.
- Contribute to the development of Aon's intellectual capital and solutions passionate about serving large, complex organizations, ensuring offerings are fit-for-purpose at enterprise scale.
- Build strong internal networks across regions, industries, and practices to ensure clients experience "one Aon" and benefit from our full global capabilities.
- Extensive experience in total rewards consulting or senior in-house rewards leadership within large, complex, or global organizations. You have a proven track record advising C-suite and Boards.
- Demonstrated success originating, leading, and closing complex, multi-year consulting engagements and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets with enterprise-scale clients.
- Deep expertise in global total rewards strategy, program development, analytics, and governance, including experience with large-scale employee-focused research and survey methodologies.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and commercial skills, with the ability to translate complex data and modeling into clear, enterprise-relevant narratives and arguments.
- Outstanding relationship management, communication, and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to navigate complex collaborator environments, including global and regional leadership teams.
- Established skill in directing international, diverse teams, handling several major projects simultaneously, and providing excellent outcomes in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $275,000 to $315,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, IL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
