The Opportunity
The PMO will play a critical role in driving execution, governance, and coordination across enterprise data and analytics initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of program management discipline and technical fluency, particularly across modern data platforms, databases, and semantic/data abstraction layers. The ideal candidate will enable effective delivery across multiple workstreams by ensuring alignment across data engineering, platform, and business stakeholders, while managing dependencies, risks, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end coordination of complex data and analytics programs, ensuring timely delivery against milestones and business objectives
- Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, including status reporting, risk management, and executive updates
- Manage cross-functional dependencies across engineering, architecture, Stakeholders and business teams.
- Drive clarity on scope, deliverables, and priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives
Technical Coordination (Data Platforms & Architecture)
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to support delivery across:
- Relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
- Multi-database environments and cross-platform data integration
- Understand and coordinate initiatives involving:
- Data virtualization through query federation, enabling abstraction and unified data access across platforms
- Ontology / semantic modeling concepts including business context mapping and data relationships
- Data caching strategies
Multi-Platform & Multi-Domain Data Understanding
- Support initiatives involving simultaneous interaction across multiple data sources/platforms
- Ensure alignment across teams working with:
- Operational systems
- Analytical platforms
- Cloud and on-prem data environments.
- Identify and proactively manage challenges related to:
- Data latency and consistency
- Query performance and optimization
- Integration complexity across distributed systems
Resources Management
- Coordinate and manage external consultants and vendor partners
- Ensure alignment of external teams with internal priorities, delivery standards, and timelines
- Track deliverables, manage escalations, and ensure accountability across all parties
- Optimize utilization of external resources to balance cost and delivery outcomes
Stakeholder Communication & Executive Reporting
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise executive-level updates.
- Provide visibility into:
- Program progress.
- Key risks and mitigation plans.
- Decision points and dependencies.
- Serve as the central point of coordination between:
- Technology teams.
- Data/analytics stakeholders.
- Business leadership.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Program/Project Management (PMO) within data or technology domains.
- 8+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs.
- Experience with data management programs.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of: Database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, distributed systems), Multi-database and hybrid data environments.
- Exposure to: Data virtualization technologies, Ontology / semantic modeling concepts.
- Proven experience managing: Complex, enterprise-scale, cross-functional programs, Multiple stakeholders across business and technology, External consultants and system integrators.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise data platform modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-based data platforms (Databricks, Azure Synapse, etc.)
Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $189,400 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
