The Opportunity
Role Value Proposition:
The Dental Concierge will provide personalized service for Dental customers with access to concierge services. Specific areas of focus include complex claim review, escalation resolution , and customer care .
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a "single point of contact" for assigned customers.
- Responsible for consultative support of a complex client in partnership with sales and accounts.
- Provide technical expertise with respect to customer plan provisions and have strong end to end business knowledge.
- Review and respond to customer and member claim escalations to ensure timely complaint resolution.
- Proactively coordinate with appropriate internal and external partners to obtain the necessary information to resolve issues and or requests.
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service through ongoing customer delivery and client satisfaction.
- Serves as a key resource and a subject matter expert to Customer Unit and National Accounts.
Required Qualifications
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- High school diploma
- An ability to work scheduled shifts during West Coast hours of operation of at least 8 AM to 5PM PST.
- 1-2 years Dental Experience
- Strong knowledge of current process and technology in place to support the existing customers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Extensive experience managing complex client accounts and relationships, with focus on Dental and Account Management.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experienced and comfortable presenting to larger groups
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
- 3-5 years Dental Claims / Plan Administration experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Superb listening skills and professional oral & written communication skills with an ability to inspire trust and accountability though an empathetic communication style which promotes a quality image of MetLife.
- Ability to work autonomously, effectively handles multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible.
- Ability to balance client expectations with MetLife capabilities.
- Self-motivated to learn more about the business and is proactive in personal development.
Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $74,900 - $90,000 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
