We are one of the top surety companies in the United States and hiring a Contract Surety Underwriter for our Atlanta office.
This position includes in-office work and travel within the assigned territory.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze reports utilized in the underwriting processes, including financial statements, job schedules, bank agreements, and credit reports.
- Assess risk quality in compliance with company's best practices.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships, both internally and externally.
- Communicate effectively.
- Be highly organized to handle a variety of responsibilities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Make timely, informed decisions.
- Operate with integrity and honesty.
- Hold themself accountable for achieving established objectives.
- Use independent judgment and initiative to support business goals.
- Stays updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Field of Study: Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- Experience: 3+ years of related experience is desired.
