Job Description

The Communications Specialist plays a key supporting role in the development and delivery of clear, effective internal communication solutions that drive employee engagement and support business objectives . Reporting to the Manager, Employee Communications, you will work closely with team members to execute communication strategies, develop compelling, high-quality content, and coordinate communication activities across a range of internal stakeholders.

Accountabilities :

• Support and execute internal communication plans aligned with business priorities and initiatives

• Draft, edit, and publish clear, engaging internal communications (e.g., emails, intranet content, presentations, FAQs)

• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and approvals to ensure smooth execution of communication initiatives

• Lead low-complexity communication projects while contributing to larger, cross-functional initiatives

• Partner with stakeholders to understand communication needs and deliver targeted, effective messaging

• Manage and maintain content across communication channels (e.g., intranet, SharePoint, newsletters), ensuring consistency in tone, branding, and accessibility

• Analyze communication metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance engagement

• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas, leveraging best practices, and optimizing communication approaches

Qualifications :

• Demonstrated experience in Communications or a related field

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail Experience creating content for multiple channels and formats

• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments

• Understanding of communications metrics and reporting is an asset

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), SharePoint, and internal communication tools

Compensation
Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 63,000.00 - 98,475.00 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
