Description
Aon is hiring for an Account Manager for our Affinity Healthcare division.This is a virtual position, preferred working location EST or CST time zone.

As an Account Manager, you will manage and retain a portfolio of high-value healthcare accounts, including healthcare businesses and practices, educational institutions, and Dental Support Organizations (DSOs). This role is critical to maintaining strong client relationships, delivering outstanding renewal outcomes, and supporting the continued growth and success of the Affinity Healthcare portfolio.

What the day will look like:
Account Management & Renewals
- Manage the entire renewal cycle for a portfolio of high-touch, high-premium healthcare accounts, including healthcare businesses and practices, schools, and DSOs
- Serve as primary relationship lead for clients and brokers, ensuring consistent communication and service delivery
- Proactively identify retention risks and develop strategies to maintain and grow accounts
- Coordinate closely with underwriting to deliver high-quality renewal outcomes
- Lead renewal discussions, pricing reviews and negotiations, and client presentations
Client & Broker Relationship Management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and key broker partners
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing insights on coverage solutions, industry trends, and market conditions
- Manage accounts that are serviced directly with clients as well as those supported through strategic broker relationships
- Deliver a high-touch, personalized service experience for large and complex accounts
- Ensure responsiveness and timely resolution of client and broker inquiries
Retention & Portfolio Performance Management
- Own retention goals and renewal targets and outcomes for the assigned portfolios
- Monitor account performance, renewal status, and key retention metrics and growth
- Maintain accurate forecasting and provide regular updates to leadership
- Seek opportunities to strengthen client relationships and support long-term portfolio growth
- Contribute to retention strategies and business planning initiatives across the Affinity Healthcare Division
High-Touch Account Service
- Provide elevated service models for large, complex, high-premium accounts
- Handle partner and brokers concerns and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Continuously improve the client experience through proactive engagement
- Collaborate across underwriting, operations, marketing, sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless support
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- 5-7 years of experience in account management, client retention, or relationship management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry
- Valid P&C license
- Demonstrated track record of handling and maintaining high value client relationships in the insurance MGA or carrier space
- Experience working with brokers, agents, and direct client relationships.
- Experience developing and providing feedback on commercial lines operations
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and negotiation abilities
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to efficiently implement critical initiatives and deliver measurable results
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- High-reaching approach with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
