Company Overview
Mile Auto is a pay-per-mile auto insurance company using patented computer vision technologies to help low mileage drivers save money. Mile Auto customers use their smartphone's camera to report mileage once a month, and then pay based on exact miles driven. The result is simple, transparent billing – pay for the miles you drive, not for the miles you don’t.
We charge pennies and value privacy.
With our pay-per-mile insurance, you only pay for what you use. The less you drive, the more you save. And we don’t ask you to install a “black box” tracking device in your car, so where you go, how you drive, and where you and your car sleep at night is your business, not your insurance company’s.
Company History
Mile Auto was founded in 2017, by our CEO, Fred Blumer and four additional founders that bring decades of insurance and product expertise within some of the world's most respected companies.
Currently, the company is going through explosive growth, as we continue to open new markets. It's a very exciting time to be part of Mile Auto. Our mission is clear, along with our value in the marketplace.
