Company History
Hartselle Insurance Agency was established in 1981 as an exclusive Nationwide Insurance Agency. Founder, Art Hartselle, began as Principal agent and sole employee. After 32 years, the agency has grown to a staff of 18 employees, with $2+ million in annual revenue.
In 2005, Hartselle Insurance Agency became a fully independent agency and has formed mutually beneficial business relationships with several Standard Insurance Carriers in the State of Florida. In addition to Nationwide (Allied) Insurance, the agency is now appointed to write business with companies such as Auto Owners, Progressive, Mercury, Universal Property & Casualty, Travelers, Hartford, American Strategic just to name a few.
In 2014 Art Hartselle Agency was acquired by Broad Insurance Group and became Hartselle BIG, LLC. The financial backing of Broad Insurance Group provides a dyanmic growth opportunity that includes expansion of the agency's capabilitiesfor advanced service and meeting customer needs.
Currently Hartselle Insurance Agency is an active member of the FAIA, the local Chamber of Commerce, the Professional Realtors Organization and many other insurance and community organizations. Hartselle Insurance has received the Super Service Award from Angie’s List due to the positive feedback from it’s members. Hartselle Insurance agency is currently located at the beautiful, state of the art, Seminole Financial Centre located at 8200 113th Street N, Suite 201 in Seminole FL.
