Gallagher Koster, a Division of Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc., offers comprehensive, cost-effective, customized insurance solutions to educational institutions and students. Relying on our in-depth knowledge of state insurance regulations, health insurance trends, and more than a decade of healthcare and insurance experience, we work with our clients to tailor a student insurance program that fully satisfies their unique needs.
Our goal is to develop an insurance program that meets the immediate needs of students with an eye toward sustained financial viability for our clients.
Gallagher Koster provides services that range from complete administrative management of a college's health insurance program to providing single product management and conducting a needs-assessment analysis.
We will work with our clients and their campus healthcare facility to ensure the flawless integration of health insurance benefits and services for their students. We'll also coordinate or establish services betweentheir facility and off-campus medical professionals and hospitals when necessary.
Our team approach is the foundation for maintaining client satisfaction and fostering long term relationships. All clients are assigned a dedicated team of professionals to ensure timely and accurate needs processing and assessment, as well as to ensure consistency in program implementation.
Company History
Gallagher Koster, formerly known as Koster Insurance Agency, Inc, was founded in September 1994 by Teresa Koster. Teresa's 23 years of experience in public helath, managed care and insurance industries along with her in-depth knowledge of the student health insurance needs of the higher education community, built the foundation of the company. At the end of 2007, Koster Insurance Agency, Inc. joined forces with Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc. As a result of the union, the company's name changed to Gallagher Koster. Teresa Koster is still at the helm, as the company continues to grow in all aspects of student health insurance.
