Specialty Underwriters' Alliance, Inc. through its subsidiary SUA Insurance Company (SUA) is a specialty program commercial property and casualty insurance company. SUA offers its insurance products through agents selected as "best in class" partners (Partner Agents) after they have undergone a rigorous vetting process. We believe that this "partnership" relationship is a substantial improvement over the way that traditional insurance companies have operated. Historically, insurance companies have also underserved the specialty market because of the complex business knowledge that is required. As opposed to other insurers who insure many business classes for each line of business, we are able to assign underwriting, claims and actuarial personnel to focus on specific programs where they develop in-depth knowledge of that particular industry.
