PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Manages technical and operational functions for assigned office(s), ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices. Responsible for consistent service quality, staffing and training, and full budget and P&L management. Directly oversees a team of 25-49 colleagues.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES MAY INCLUDE
- Oversee operational management, policy development, and compliance with claims standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Establish business plans, set goals, and monitor office performance.
- Coordinate sales and client service efforts.
- Administer personnel policies, lead staffing and training, and manage colleague performance and development.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to maximize team performance.
- Support organizational quality programs, perform additional duties as assigned, and travel as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing: Eight (8) years claims management experience including two (2) years supervisory experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
Licensing / Jurisdiction Knowledge: California workers' compensation knowledge | SIP Required

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $118,000-$125,000/yr. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
