Description
JD: Trucking Sales Producer
About Renegade Insurance
Renegade Insurance is transforming the U.S. insurance ecosystem through technology, operational excellence, and modern distribution. We empower agents and agencies with a next-generation platform, advanced tools, and streamlined processes that simplify operations and accelerate growth.
We are a fast-growing, innovation-driven company where execution, ownership, and impact matter. You will work directly with the Founders and leadership team on strategic, operational, and cross-functional initiatives, playing a key role in shaping the future of the organization.
We are hiring an extremely goal-driven and customer-focused Commercial Lines Trucking Producer to join the growing sales team at Renegade Insurance. In this role, your sole focus will be to generate truckers/trucking business leads. We have an expert in-house remarketing and quoting team that will generate the best quotes for the prospects you solicit and bind, allowing you to maintain a singular focus on lead generation. This will not be a desk job; it requires you to go out and win over trucking prospects.
Why We Are the Best Fit for You
We provide cutting-edge technology, end-to-end quoting and servicing support, marketing assets, lead banks in any counties of your choice (optional), extensive carrier access, franchisee transition support, and operational assistance. If you are entrepreneurial and ambitious, we are the organization for you.
Who Is an Ideal Candidate for This Role
- You have built a trucking book of business (BoB) of more than $3Mn in a span of 1.5 years (OO and fleets) and want a platform with better markets, support, and economics.
- You love outbound prospecting and closing and want to be freed from quoting and remarketing administration.
- You think like an entrepreneur and want your income to grow directly with your effort and results.
Responsibilities
- Build a trucking leads pipeline through outreach, referrals, and relationship development.
- Convert cold leads provided by the agency into prospects ready to join our customer base.
- Contribute to a strong sales culture by sharing best practices and helping build a “best-in-class” approach to serving truckers.
- Clearly explain insurance coverage options so clients understand what they are buying.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering ongoing service, policy reviews, and ensuring their evolving insurance needs are met.
- Present tailored insurance options to clients and negotiate terms to secure business.
- Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients by recommending additional coverage options and services.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and coverage changes to better support clients and internal teams.
- In this role, you are expected to produce approximately $3–5M book of business in a year.
