Description and RequirementsDuties: Demonstrate the ability to break large architectural and implementation problems into logical smaller solutions. Define, maintain, and manage architecture models and artifacts. Design customer communications (CCM) and document processing workflows using Quadient Inspire (Scaler, Messenger, Designer, Interactive). Lead and manage key projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Develop and configure Quadient Inspire applications and CCM templates (mail, email, fax, SMS) to ensure efficient and effective document production. Develop Azure Synapse pipeline solutions for event-driven architecture and integrate with CCM applications (Digital services, Quadient). Prepare rule engines and integrate them with Synapse pipelines using Azure Cosmos DB. Develop and implement insightful dashboards using tools including Splunk and Azure Metrics. Build and maintain robust end-to-end texting infrastructure, including APIM/APIC and Azure Functions. Implement and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline automation and Bullet Train deployment. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and provide guidance to junior team members. Learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies, exploring AI opportunities within the Correspondence team. Provide technical support for correspondence systems, ensuring stability and resolving critical issues promptly.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering or related field (will accept foreign education equivalent) and ten (10) years of experience performing software development, including use of customer communications management platforms such as Quadient Inspire, OpenText Extreme, and/or Oracle Documaker. Position requires experience in the following: 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of customer communications management (Quadient & Documaker), including creating content, delivering messages through various channels (email, text, mail, fax), storing communication records, and retrieving them. 5 years of experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and applying these methodologies in real-world projects, including leading Agile teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and ensuring continuous delivery and improvement. 3 years of experience with DevSecOps practices, including integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline, managing releases, and automating deployment processes using Azure DevOps. 2 years of experience deploying, managing, and optimizing solutions using Microsoft Azure Services such as Synapse for data analytics/integration, Functions for serverless computing, ASE for secure app hosting, and CosmosDB, SQL DB for scalable database solutions. 3 years of experience developing, deploying, and managing REST APIs, designing API endpoints, ensuring secure and efficient JSON request/response data exchange, and integrating APIs with cloud-first infrastructure, following best practices for API versioning, documentation, and monitoring.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office/2 days remote

The wage range for applicants for this position is $132,184.00 to $146,900.00 per year. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. MetLife offers a comprehensive benefits program, including healthcare benefits, life insurance, retirement benefits, parental leave, legal plan services and paid time off. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
