US Digital Team is looking for an Application Developer with experience in Java and React to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge software applications. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with foundational programming skills and an interest in enterprise level user experience development.

Location: Hybrid schedule. Must be commutable to the following office location:

• Bridgewater, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant software applications using Java and React.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative and effective solutions.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes and practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with software development using Java and node js and React.
• 1+ years of experience in front-end or back-end development.
• Experience with software design principles, patterns, and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  Experience with Spring Boot framework
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience in SQL or Oracle technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Candidate must be currently authorized to work in the United States and must not require MetLife sponsorship or support for an immigration-related employment benefit (e.g., work permit or temporary work visa) in any capacity now or in the future.

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
