Mercer Health & Benefits, LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the New York, NY office (A hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.):Senior International Consultant II (Multiple Positions)
We will count on you to:
Work with a wide range of companies to help them assess, develop, and deploy strategies, programs, and initiatives to improve the health and wellness of their employees. As a subject matter expert, advise clients on best practices, financial management, compliance, communication, and administration of global and local health and benefit plans. Lead a group of professional individual contributors to achieve operational results, helping them to establish goals, solve problems, and work across the organization. Serve as lead health consultant on medium to large clients, and lead large-scale projects including managing overall service delivery and solution design. Act as the day-to-day lead for the client, ensuring project requirements, solutions, and deliverables meet client expectations. Determine the full scope of services provided to the client, set roles and responsibilities within the client team, and coach team members. Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and leading prospecting efforts with new clients. Establish effective carrier/vendor relationships to serve clients in benefits procurement and administration, including eligibility, claims, billing, plan implementation, contracts, plan changes, and necessary amendments.
What you need to have:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the position offered or a related position. Must have three (3) years of experience with all of the following: Training and supporting colleagues' development in the field of well-being and the digital health & well-being vendor landscape; Serving as a subject-matter expert in digital health and wellbeing solutions on a global level and from a local country delivery perspective; Developing and implementing quantitative cost-saving plan designs and qualitative service delivery for multi-year health strategies; Communicating with and managing relationships with senior-level stakeholders and buyers; Communicating results of health and well-being program offerings including long-term financial projections and strategizing on actionable methods to manage long term costs; Facilitating and leading onsite engagement sessions focused on the strategic implementation and optimization of complex business topics; Proactively monitoring and analyzing country-specific compliance regulations to ensure clients adhere to all legal obligations and mitigate potential risks; Managing health and wellness program projects and deliverables, including managing and coaching project delivery team members to ensure high standards of work delivery to the client.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $147,700 to $244,800 per year.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
