Description and RequirementsRole Value Proposition:
The Vendor Management Enablement (VME) team, in Business Controls, serves as a strategic support function for the Vendor Management Organization. This team ensures that the Vendor Management Organization is equipped with standardized processes, procedures, training, and automation tools to drive efficiency and simplify vendor management practices.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Vendor Automation Specialist to join our team and drive automation initiatives across business processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools-PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and Power BI, Alteryx, Python, or SQL-and other data and automation tools with a strong understanding of how to streamline workflows, improve data visibility, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Automation: Automate recurring reports, dashboards, and data validation processes.
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using PowerApps to meet organizational needs
- Workflow Automation: Implement automation of workflows and system integrations through PowerAutomate to streamline processes
- Data Visualization: Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI to support data-driven decision-making
- Collaboration: Partner closely with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, data models and reporting standards.
- Governance and Security: Ensure that developed solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to IT governance policies
- Issue Resolution: monitor data quality, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation tools and data integrations to maintain smooth operations
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of processes, configurations, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and consistency
- Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing assistance to end-users regarding Power Platform solutions to maximize adoption and effectiveness
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data and Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in data automation, data engineering, IT product management, automation, or related business intelligence roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or data transformation and analysis and building reports and dashboards in PowerBI, or equivalent.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools-PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and Power BI.
- PowerApps certification.
- Experience working with vendor management and contract management processes.
- Experience with third party management software (Sirion, Icertis, etc.)

The expected salary range for this position is $76,500 to $102,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
