Role Overview:
New York Life is seeking a Long-Term Care (LTC) Case Support Specialist to support advisors and consultants in competitive and complex client scenarios. This field-facing role provides real-time case consultation, advanced case design support, and competitive positioning guidance focused on Long-Term Care solutions.
As part of the Advanced Competition Solutions team, this position serves as a dedicated LTC subject matter expert, helping advisors confidently position New York Life's LTC offerings in affluent and highly competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide real-time LTC case consultation, illustration guidance, and strategic support to advisors and consultants
Support complex and competitive LTC cases by helping position New York Life's solutions effectively
Partner with product and competitive intelligence teams to stay current on market trends and competitive positioning
Develop and deliver clear competitive insights, talking points, and sales enablement content
Serve as a central point of contact for LTC case escalations, coordinating with underwriting, operations, and product teams
Track case activity and trends to support leadership reporting and continuous improvement
Strong knowledge of Long-Term Care insurance, including standalone and linked-benefit products
Experience supporting advisors, agents, or consultants through case consultation and illustration support
Proven ability to collaborate across underwriting, product, operations, and distribution teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple complex cases in a fast-paced environment
Series 6/63, CLTC, or other relevant professional credentials preferred
Long-Term Care planning is central to helping clients maintain choice, control, and dignity as they age. This role offers the opportunity to directly support advisors in delivering impactful LTC solutions while contributing to New York Life's continued leadership in the long-term care marketplace.

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $73,000-$104,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
Please note : This role requires FINRA licensed and/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
