About the Role
RC Fischer and Company is hiring an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support a balanced book of construction and Main Street commercial lines clients.
This role focuses on renewal strategy, coverage analysis, and client service for an established portfolio of business clients. You will work directly with clients and insurance carriers while being supported by a team of assistants who handle certificates of insurance, routine endorsements, and administrative servicing.
Renewal marketing and carrier quoting are handled by our dedicated Marketing Manager, allowing Account Managers to focus on coverage strategy, renewals, and client relationships rather than administrative processing.
This position is not a producer role and does not require sales responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and service a book of commercial lines accounts including construction and Main Street
businesses
Lead renewal strategy, marketing coordination, and coverage review for client accounts
Respond to client requests including endorsements, coverage questions, and policy interpretation
Handle complex certificates of insurance and contractual insurance requirements for construction clients
Review policies and endorsements to ensure coverage aligns with client operations and contractual obligations
Review construction contracts and insurance requirements to confirm policy compliance
Maintain documentation and workflow within the EPIC agency management system
Coordinate with producers, assistants, and carrier partners to deliver strong client service
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager
Minimum 3 years of experience managing California based contractor accounts
Demonstrated experience servicing construction accounts and Main Street commercial clients
Strong working knowledge of General Liability, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, and Property
Experience reviewing construction contracts and insurance requirements
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal service staff
Experience with EPIC agency management system preferred but not required
Active Property and Casualty license
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000+ depending on experience
Performance bonuses distributed 1 to 2 times per year. High performing Account Managers regularly earn additional income through our discretionary bonus program

Requirements
