Description
At Marsh McLennan, we building a cutting-edge Offensive Security Team and are seeking a passionate, technically skilled individual contributor to help us strengthen our security posture. We will count on you to:
- Design and execute advanced adversary emulation operations tailored to industry verticals, geolocations, and emerging threats.
- Conduct Red/Purple team assessments in partnership with leadership and security teams to identify vulnerabilities and improve defenses.
- Research threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures to develop proof-of-concept tools, playbooks, and operational procedures.
- Develop and refine tools and techniques to bypass security controls, ensuring operational objectives are met.
- Document operational activities clearly and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, supporting large-scale incident investigations as needed.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in red team assessments, offensive cyber operations, or penetration testing.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts clearly.
- Experience working with Security Operations, Incident Response, or Detection Engineering teams.
- Knowledge of threat actor tactics, current attack techniques, and industry trends.
- Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Experience with large-scale IT implementations and operations.
- Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSWE, GPEN, GCIH, GWAPT, or GXPN.
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational tools and procedures to improve security defenses.
- Familiarity with building and maintaining scalable test infrastructure while adhering to security standards.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $124,800 to $249,600.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
