Description
Aon is seeking a dynamic and analytical Pension Administration, Business Development Manager to join our team.This virtual role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our business by evaluating and improving sales strategies, identifying new customer opportunities, and crafting compelling proposals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in consulting, finance, sales support or a related field, with a proven track record of success in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current sales strategies and identify areas for improvement to enhance business growth.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new customers and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
- Write and develop proposals that effectively communicate Aon's value proposition to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of business development strategies.
- Analyze data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor industry developments and competitor activities/solutions to inform business strategies and Aon's value proposition.
- Develop understanding of Aon's current/historical relationship with prospects across all business segments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in consulting, finance, sales support or another relevant field.
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in writing proposals, creating compelling presentations, and developing business strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM software and data analysis tools.
- Experience in the defined benefit administration and consulting industry is a plus.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $100,000 to $125,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
