Description
Under general supervision of the San Diego Vice President, Client Services, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for general operations support, project administration, and communications within the Business Insurance Division. This position will work with a variety of colleagues as well as independently on operational assignments and projects.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide general operations support for the BI Division including but not limited to:
- Technology Support:
- Ongoing and Ad Hoc Reports
 - Admin for Carrier Log In Set Up
 - UAR's- User Access Requests
 - Smartsheet Admin/Expertise
 - iPad Management in the SD Office
 
 - Daily Responses/Troubleshoot/Ticket Management for Offshore Vendors
 - Support and lead some system coding related to accounting support including but not limited to:
- Direct Bill
 - Referrals
 - Chargebacks
 - Vendor Invoice Process
 
 - Update and maintain communication documents including carrier contacts, general document management and organization, eDocs Managment
 - Proactively identify processes and operational areas to improve efficiency
 - Provide back-up for other members of the Operations team.
 - Act as a liaison between teams, divisions and offices to promote strong communication and problem-solving solutions
 - Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, and cohesive team effort fostering positive morale
 
 - Technology Support:
 
Successful candidate will be a service oriented individual with high personal standards and a hands-on work style. This position requires an individual who is comfortable working at a varying pace, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, adjusting priorities often, and managing frequent interruptions.
This position interacts with and provides service to a large group of internal colleagues and has high levels of contact with external vendors. The Operations Analyst must be positive and approachable, and work effectively with diverse personalities. In addition, the following are required:
- Successful work history to include a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a professional office setting directly related project management with progressively greater responsibility for making administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.
 - Bachelor degree required, preferably in Business Management or similar field of study.
 
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present results neatly and with precision in a concise, logical and professional manner.
 - Advanced knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and database administration, with ability to operate standard office equipment required.
 - Demonstrated ability to organize resources, establish priorities, resolve problems, plan appropriately and make sound decisions within job scope especially with workload changes and under deadlines.
 - Dependable, self-driven and possess intuitive abilities to follow through on assignments and work productively with others in a team environment.
 - Maintain a valid Driver's License & have reliable transportation.
 
- Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods.
 - Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment, with flexible work from home program available to all colleagues.
 - Occasional overtime may be required.
 - Periodic travel may be required. Travel may consist of 1-2 overnight trips per quarter as well as day trips visiting other office sites.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $47,200 to $87,800.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
