Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Ability to accurately track technical progress of complex airplane systems and software development
- Ability to plan, execute, and report status of complex software system development, managing a cross-functional and international team that includes engineering development, test, and systems integration
- Ensure that execution is aligned with program goals and is on time and within budget
- Perform risk management and mitigation planning
- Provide analytical and problem-solving skills to accomplish optimal project delivery and keep delivery running smoothly
- Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned
- Ability to keep stakeholders informed of up to date project status, including delivery progress, risks and roadblocks
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Experience with RTCA DO-178C airplane software development and certification requirements
- Experience with airplane testing, verification, and delivery
- Experience with Agile software development processes
- Experience with Tier 1 project management tools
- Experience with JIRA, MS Project and Git
- Project management and delivery throughout all stages of the project life cycle from planning to in service delivery
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
- Bachelor's degree and 9+ years and/or advanced degree with 7+ years related work experience.
- An accredited degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Preference for accreditation to come from ABET.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $220,000
