The Associate will be a member of the Client Portfolio Management team. The team is focused on managing portfolios across investment grade private fixed income. The platform consists of corporate private placements, infrastructure debt and asset-based finance. The team manages portfolios for both the general account and third-party investors and serves as subject matter experts for each asset class to assist with the sales process. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for investment management. This role offers the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of portfolio management and private credit investment strategy within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders:
- Gather detailed information, synthesize data and coordinate timely responses to requests for information
- Utilize internal systems (e.g., Aladdin/BlackRock, Allvue, Salesforce) to analyze portfolios, support deal flow, and enhance reporting
- Provide data for client reporting needs
- Track deal opportunities, client solicitations, and maintain pipeline and client reports
- Identify and implement data/process enhancements to support day-to-day investment and portfolio management
- Construct pitch-books and contribute to RFP responses
- Contribute to strategic reporting and presentations for senior leadership
- Provide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed
- Desire to take initiative and ownership - must demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude toward given tasks
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Exceptional attention to detail, placing a high priority on accuracy and organization
- 2-5 years of working experience
- Problem solver with ability to research solutions and suggest resolutions
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; ability to work with large data sets
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree required. Preferred in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance
- Understanding of credit markets; knowledge of private placements would be a plus

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
