Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our MercerWell team at Mercer . This role will be based in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas or Irvine. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.MercerWell , a specialty practice within Mercer's Health Practice , works with employer-based clients to address the health of their employees - including strategies to improve quality and access to care, program delivery of population health management , and organizational change management supporting employee engagement.
The MercerWell suite of products provides comprehensive solutions to meet the most critical needs of our clients' populations - delivering support for the full spectrum of care, from prevention and lifestyle support to complex clinical management. Products include the Health Transformation Collaborative , Mercer Health Advantage , Stop Loss Clinical Oversight, and MercerVIP .
We will count on you to :
- Collect and analyz e data to summarize information for impactful client presentations
- Utiliz e industry-leading tools in the development and execution of client projects, including wellbeing benchmarking, health vendor comparisons, and Mercer survey data
- Assist with Request for Proposal s (RFP s ) to select carriers or vendors on behalf of clients
- Collaborat e with senior consultants to assess client needs and develop effective implementation strategies
- Engag e with a diverse range of vendors and partners to support clients' health and benefits strategies
- Support MercerWell subject matter experts in content development and the delivery of innovative solutions
What you need to have :
- Progress toward a master's degree with an expected graduation year of Fall 202 6 or Spring 202 7
- Significant coursework or a desire to work in h ealth c onsulting
- Project management experience , e xcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines , and strong attention to detail
- Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required

- Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with superior organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and critical thinking, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, adapt to changing client needs, and work under tight deadlines

The applicable hourly rate for this role in New York and San Francisco is $40.
