The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an Intelligent Document Management Supervisor (Mail & Print Operations) to join our dynamic team at our Home Office in Worcester, Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values strong relationships, and is committed to delivering exceptional results through a diverse, high-performing team.This position is based at our Worcester headquarters, with a flexible hybrid schedule—four days in-office and one day remote each week—supporting both collaboration and work-life balance.
THIS IS A FULL-TIME, EXEMPT ROLE.
Position Overview: The Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities associated with the processes, vendors, and staffing of our fast-paced service focused area(s). Participates in and provides input for training programs, performance measures, quality standards and service initiatives within the department. Supports and motivates employees to meet/exceed service level agreements as well as handles all personnel related matters including development and performance reviews.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Support and motivate employees to meet and exceed customer service standards.
- Partner with customers, vendors, and other key constituents to enhance our service capabilities.
- Assign priorities and balance daily work within the department.
- Analyze staffing and productivity data to identify process improvements and staffing requirements.
- Handle exceptions and solve operational or business partner problems.
- Create/Review detailed documentation for department workflow processes.
- Perform human resources activities as needed (approve time, perform reviews, etc.)
- Provide accurate reporting and data analytics for tracking.
- Travel required, as necessary. (5%<)
- Performs other tasks as delegated from management.
- Provide input for the strategic direction of the department in alignment with corporate goals.
- Foster an environment that promotes a positive work culture and leads utilizing our corporate CARE values
- Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure department goals are achieved
WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (3-5 years in leadership).
- Experience within the print and mail industry is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting and/or changing expectations
- Basic knowledge of organizational system TAP, EOS, PMS etc a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

The target hiring range for this role may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus (which could take the form of a general bonus, sales incentive, or short-term incentive), long-term incentive or spot recognition awards. The posted range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
