The Inclusion & Belonging Senior Consultant is responsible for promoting and advancing CNA's culture of inclusion across the enterprise. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and external partners, this role develops and executes programs and initiatives that foster inclusion and belonging and serves as a thought partner and advisor on matters of company culture.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversees, and serves as primary relationship manager to, CNA's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Develops and manages ERG governance protocols and annual ERG budget and operational processes. Supports the development and execution of ERG events and ensure seamless onboarding of ERG leaders.
- Facilitates quarterly roundtable meetings with ERG Executive Sponsors and provides ad hoc support to ERG Executive Sponsors as appropriate.
- In conjunction with leadership, develops and manages the Inclusion budget and ensures expenditure is within established parameters, balancing cost efficiency with program quality.
- Partners with Talent Development to integrate inclusive leadership competencies into employee training, leadership programs and performance processes.
- Monitors internal and external workforce trends and recommends strategies to advance CNA's culture of inclusion.
- Serves as an inclusion and belonging thought partner, providing advice and counsel as business units and functions pursue culture and inclusion initiatives.
- Assists in the development of related internal communications. Manages the company's internal Inclusion email address, responding to and/or escalating employee inquiries as appropriate.
- May serve as a liaison to external organizations for which CNA has a strategic partnership.
May perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Excellent understanding of inclusion and belonging concepts and principles and how they relate to other disciplines across HR and business.
- Strong experience working with cross-functional teams and leaders, with an ability to influence.
- Strong awareness of current trends, relevant legal and regulatory frameworks and literature regarding culture & inclusion work.
- Clear understanding of organizational dynamics and proven experience with planning and organizing enterprise-wide inclusion initiatives and events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to guide and influence others, particularly colleagues in other business areas.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required, with a Master's preferred, in a related discipline, or equivalent.
- Typically a minimum of eight years of related work experience.

I n certain jurisdictions, CNA is legally required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. In District of Columbia , California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois , Maryland , Massachusetts , New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $72,000 to $141,000 annually. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
