Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Philadelphia, PA. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.This role is responsible for accurately inputting wires, ACH payments, and banking details into systems including Open Twins, analyzing ledgers, applying client and market cash receipts, and providing cash details to customers. Additionally, support market cash call collections, generate ad hoc and position reports, manage line code requests, and collaborate with Fiduciary and Team Managers on projects and multi-team issues.
We will count on you to:
- Accurately input wires, ACH payments, and banking details into the system, including Open Twins.
- Analyze ledgers and assist with applying client and market cash receipts as needed.
- Provide cash details to customers and support collection of market cash calls.
- Generate ad hoc reports and position reports for the IBA Manager.
- Collaborate with Fiduciary Managers on projects and confer with Team Managers on multi-team issues and projects.
- Manage line code requests and related administrative tasks.
- 1+ year of office experience in related industries such as primary insurance, claims, underwriting, or financial services, with a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage workload effectively under regular supervision.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering superior client service while promoting the Guy Carpenter brand.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a high-performance team, quickly assess problems, offer effective solutions, and make sound judgments with guidance, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Prior experience with reinsurance
- Ability to analyze data utilizing Excel.
- Knowledge of contract law, reinsurance principles, regulatory controls, and business trends.
