Join an industry-leading team at Aon as an Associate Consultant within our Data Solutions business group, part of the Talent Solutions practice. In this role, you will deliver innovative and effective solutions to clients in the financial services sector, providing benchmarking, consulting, and data-enabled insights. Based in our Norwalk, CT office, you will have the opportunity to work alongside senior leaders in a highly productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze competitive compensation practices within defined labor markets, with a primary focus on collecting client information and ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Participate in a variety of assignments, including pay benchmarking, incentive plan design, industry research, marketing and business development, questionnaire design, internal and client training, report writing, and public speaking opportunities.
- Perform specialized research studies on a range of compensation topics, as assigned.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to drive findings and insights for client engagements; prepare summary reports and consulting presentations.
- Maintain and update compensation and financial databases.
- Serve on client teams, correspond with clients, and deliver data-enabled solutions to support their strategic objectives.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience in data management, compensation, or financial analysis; experience in financial services is desirable.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a focus in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics. Other majors will also be considered.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., chart/graph creation, lookups, array formulas, nested IFs, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (creating professional presentations).
- Strong written and oral communication skills; attentive note-taker and fast learner.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills; careful attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team on multiple projects.
- Effective collaborator, critical thinker, team player, and relationship builder.
- Strong digital literacy, including Word, email, and internet tools.
- Self-confidence, humility, and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $78,000 - $81,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
