The Director, Medicare Market Sales is responsible for the operational and sales performance of Advise’s existing markets. Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Director, Medicare Market Sales performs all duties required to maintain operational performance metrics across territories. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring sales performance, managing programs and personnel, implementing grassroots marketing campaigns, developing provider partnerships, and overseeing office operations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the COO’s point of contact for operating performance and sales in assigned markets
• Ensure appropriate field staffing, including licensure and certification requirements
• Establish standardized reporting providing insight of performance across markets
• Implement performance improvement initiatives to address market challenges
• Oversee marketing, community, and provider partnership activity across markets
• Identify selling opportunities, business process gaps, or quick wins within new markets
• Provide sales guidance to market teams and keep the COO informed of all activity, especially during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)
• Create business planning deliverables such as business plans, budget forecasting and actuals, program timelines, project workplans, and executive leadership presentations

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, communications, or similar field
• 3+ years of progressively responsible supervisory/management experience
• Experience working for a health plan (preferred, but not required)
• Life, health and accident license or ability to obtain a license within 90 days of employment

Skills/Knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills
• Advanced reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of CRM database systems and reporting

Travel Requirements

Ability to travel 50% of the time
