P&C IT Services provides professional services to help our business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes. IT Services can include a wide range of activities such as: software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, establishing and overseeing access rights, procuring and maintaining equipment or software, managing the infrastructure, and defining security procedures, The overall goal of IT Services is to provide technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give our company a competitive advantage over our competitors.
Our Digital Relationship Management team is looking for an Analyst Intern to work a hybrid schedule (3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote) out of the Cincinnati office for the summer.
Responsibilities:
• Provides support in overseeing and monitoring all facets of API demand and delivery, ensuring alignment and coordination across multiple teams and various project and product phases.
o Monitor and maintain project task records within internal systems by verifying that each entry includes precise start and end dates, as well as up-to-date information.
o Provide regular and detailed status updates to stakeholders by clearly communicating progress, identifying any issues, risks, and dependencies, and ensuring timely escalation of concerns as appropriate.
o Support meetings by facilitating team discussions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among participants.
• Assist in the onboarding of new API consumers and provide ongoing support for existing integrations.
o Assists with maintaining security standards through credential creation/management.
o Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business operations and maintains an up-to-date inventory of their API.
o Provides assistance in preparing analytical reports to support the ongoing maintenance of integrations, and performs necessary tasks related to production support as required.
o Participates in the development and refinement of design standards and conducts thorough validation to ensure that API functionalities and related documentation are optimized for effectiveness, efficiency, and user accessibility.
o Maintains and revises process and service documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with current operational standards.
• Develop and implement new reporting mechanisms to support informed decision-making processes. This includes designing, generating, and maintaining analytical reports that provide stakeholders with actionable insights, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of project management and operational strategies.
Requirements:
• Possesses a foundational understanding of project management principles and demonstrates a keen interest in developing project management skills.
• Exhibits outstanding organizational skills, consistently managing tasks, schedules, and project components efficiently to support team objectives and maintain smooth workflow operations.
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring information is conveyed clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders.
• Effectively manages multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Demonstrates the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with query languages (such as SQL) and database systems is a plus.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Basic familiarity with APIs and web services is a plus.
• Experience with project management methodologies and proficiency in using project management tools (i.e Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello) is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is a plus.
Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Business, or related discipline.
First or second year in college
