Description and RequirementsThe Opportunity
This role offers the chance to make a real impact by contributing to high-visibility initiatives that invoke operational excellence across multiple businesses. Success in this role requires strong curiosity and accountability. The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the end to end reinsurance processes with strong emphasis on cash management/settlement processes along with process improvement and automation efforts. You will collaborate closely with the Strategy Team in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Partner across multiple workstream teams to analyze business needs, streamline workflows, and automate manual processes using AI, Alteryx, Power Query, and other analytics tools.
- Develop and maintain workflows and process maps (Workfront, Visio) to enhance transparency, accountability, and cross-functional alignment.
- Support financial management activities, including budget oversight, ledger reconciliation and cash management, ensuring accuracy and insight into financial drivers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize.
- Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure timely completion of key deliverables with visible impact across the organization.
- Document standard operating procedures and communicate complex concepts clearly and positively through concise documentation, and verbal discussions.
- Demonstrate curiosity and commitment to learning the reinsurance and retrocession business, retaining knowledge and applying it to enhance process and decision quality.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in process improvement, business operations, data analytics, or financial management; experience in a public company environment preferred.
- Proven experience with automation and analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power Query, AI-driven process solutions).
- Polished financial acumen, with sharp attention to numerical accuracy and a clear understanding of monetary flows and ledger-based reporting.
- Experience in system administration or workflow management platforms (e.g., Workfront, Visio, Power Automate) with an ability to understand back-end connections beyond the user interface.

- Insurance and reinsurance knowledge is a plus
- Solid understanding of cash management & settlement processes
The expected salary range for this position is $87,900 - $115,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
