Description
Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per weekRole Overview :
As a Customer Inquiry and Administrative Specialist, you will manage inbound calls through a computerized phone system; gather information to support the timely resolution of customer inquiries; and screen and route calls to the appropriate departments. You will accurately verify and enter claim information and document call details in claim notes. In addition, you will prepare a daily report of new claims and validate each claim in accordance with Risk Management requirements. This includes tracking claim volume, confirming accurate assignment, and escalating missing or misrouted claims for correction.
What You'll Do :
- Answer inbound customer calls, assess needs, and route inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Research and confirm policy details for active and canceled policies to support accurate customer responses.
- Verify claim details for accuracy and enter information into the claims system.
- Prepare, reconcile, and validate daily new-claim reports to meet Risk Management requirements.
- Identify claim exceptions or routing errors and escalate issues for timely resolution and correction.
What You'll Bring :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and follow-through

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $38,000-$48,000
Overtime eligible: Nonexempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
