Consultant - Business Transformation
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Drive strategic transformation initiatives that shape Sedgwick's future operating model. Own scoped workstreams from design and analysis through iterative build and adoption, with a focus on AI-enabled solutions, digital process redesign, and enterprise value creation. Collaborate with Business, AI, IT, and Data teams to evaluate options, architect solutions, and deliver measurable impact on customer experience and EBITDA growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Transformation Design & Analysis
- Lead strategic assessments of current-state processes and design future-state operating models aligned to growth and efficiency goals.
- Conduct AI discovery and feasibility analysis; identify automation opportunities and quantify business impact.
Solution Evaluation
- Drive build vs. buy analysis; prepare business cases and vendor scorecards with clear ROI and EBITDA implications.
- Coordinate RFI/RFP process; support contract negotiations and SLAs.
Technical Discovery & Solutioning
- Facilitate discovery workshops with Business, AI, IT, and Data teams to confirm architecture, integration points, and data readiness.
- Document technical requirements and dependencies for implementation.
Product Management & Agile Delivery
- Translate business requirements into tiered work structures; contribute to roadmap development and feature prioritization.
- Manage agile delivery: backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and UAT coordination.
Change Management & Adoption
- Execute change strategy: stakeholder engagement, training plans, and communication cadence.
- Monitor adoption metrics and adjust interventions to ensure sustained impact.
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare executive-ready updates: dashboards, risk logs, and benefit realization tracking.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel as required (up to 25%).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead small cross-functional teams; mentor Analysts/Analyst Sr. No direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years in consulting or enterprise transformation roles (Bain AC/SAC or similar experience ideal).
- Exposure to strategic design, AI/automation solutioning, product management, and agile delivery.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to structure complex decisions.
- Familiarity with AI/automation feasibility and risks; able to document requirements for engineering handoff.
- Excellent communication; executive-ready deliverables; stakeholder management at Director/VP level.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in cross-functional settings.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Mental: Analytical, organized, deadline-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Physical: Remote position; travel as required.
- Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision, talking.
