Description

• Assist underwriters with new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements
• Review submissions for completeness and accuracy, including applications, loss runs, and supporting documents
• Enter and maintain policy data in underwriting and policy management systems
• Prepare quotes, binders, endorsements, and policy documents
• Coordinate with agents and brokers to obtain missing information and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with internal underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Maintain organized and well-documented underwriting files
• Support audits, reports, and special underwriting projects as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of commercial auto insurance experience (underwriting or underwriting support preferred)
• Working knowledge of commercial auto coverages, rating, and policy forms
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with underwriting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
