Description

• Handle commercial auto BI claims from FNOL through resolution, including litigated and pre-litigation files
• Conduct thorough investigations, including coverage analysis, liability assessment, and injury evaluation
• Review medical records, bills, wage loss documentation, and permanency reports
• Evaluate claim value, establish and manage reserves, and negotiate settlements within authority
• Coordinate with defense counsel, medical providers, independent adjusters, and vendors
• Respond to attorney representation, demands, summons, and regulatory inquiries
• Ensure compliance with NY/NJ claims regulations and internal best practices
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and file notes in the claims system

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of commercial auto bodily injury claims experience
• Proven experience handling moderate to complex BI exposures
• Strong knowledge of NJ/CA auto liability, BI evaluation, and litigation practices
• Experience managing attorney-represented and litigated claims
• Ability to independently manage a full BI caseload
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and documentation skills
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
