The Equine Mortality Division is looking for a Claims Supervisor or Claims Manager to join their team. This individual will work a hybrid schedule out of the Ocala, FL office.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the department's strategic Claims programs.
• Responsible for delivering specialized insights to business leaders to develop and implement strategies that align with business goals and drive organizational performance.
• Oversees investigation of claims to confirm coverage and to determine compensability and damages.
• Establishes reserves and provides insights to senior management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Generally, a minimum 13 years of experience in property claims handling, including a minimum of 6 years leadership experience. Equine experience preferred. Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Associate in Claims (AIC).
• Scope of Job/Qualifications: Typically manages 2 or more reports.
