Description and RequirementsRole Value Proposition
The Onsite Business Analyst is responsible for coordinating the education of the employees of Institutional Business customers on their MetLife benefit offerings. Activities involve planning and executing onsite events that support the full range of Institutional Business products. These onsite events may be benefit fairs, group informational meetings, Web casts or one-on-one discussions. The incumbent works directly with internal partners from various areas and product lines as well as with brokers, external customers, external benefits advisors and vendors in order to facilitate the onsite education process.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with first-sale team (pre-sale and post-sale) to understand customer needs regarding educational meetings and benefit fairs. Interface with customer, sales and/or broker to clarify meeting requirements, including meeting methodology, timeline and communication plan.
- Triage Met Express/MetManaged event requests in order to facilitate 'once and done' process
- Understand and support Onsite Services guidelines and apply sound business judgment in situations that are outside of guidelines
- Select appropriate onsite resources for educational meetings and benefit fairs based on products, industry, geography, case demographics and costs.
- Train resources (i.e., internal sales and service associates, external benefits advisors, etc.) on products and processes to prepare them for onsite events.
- Manage Met Express block of business following established guidelines and procedures
- Increase overall Onsite awareness, knowledge of Onsite processes and system capabilities by proactively educating partners.
- Ensure appropriate and accurate materials (e.g., product communications, promotional items, etc.) are provided to customers and onsite resources.
- Troubleshoot as necessary with customer and onsite resources to ensure a smooth event, addressing and resolving any issues that arise.
- Create educational presentations using Power Point for various MetLife products and internal processes.
- Create various excel documents to track cancelled events, submit onsite requests, manage event scheduling, and other reports as needed.
- Provide feedback on process and technology related to onsite events.
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as requested by management.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills
Required:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience working in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and multi-task multiple priorities
- Attention to detail
- Creative thinker
The expected salary range for this position is $46,100 - $56,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
