Broker I, Middle MarketAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting commercial risk. As a Broker you will report directly to the Broking Leader, Entertainment. This is a hybrid opportunity and will be expected to work out of the Atlanta, GA office 3 to 4 days a week.

What the day will look like
The Broker is responsible for the management of a portfolio of accounts including placement and service, as well as ensuring client results are maintained. This individual is accountable for acting as the representative on new business and renewal opportunities with a focus on clients in the Sports, Leisure, and Special Events industry space. The individual will work in supporting colleagues, promoting and ensuring connectivity, collaboration and cooperation within local office practices and team standards, functions and encouraging the sharing of knowledge, best practices and resources around our Property and Casualty accounts.
- Perform the services of an Insurance Broker for Property, Casualty, Worker's Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, Excess, and Foreign Package policies.
- Advise and complete the placement of new and renewal P&C programs including crafting submissions. Completing placements within required timeframes and servicing those placements including their renewals.
- Analyze and review insurance programs for clients to determine optimum program including pricing, terms and conditions for both new and renewal business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the carriers and underwriters.
- Mentor and help develop associate brokers on the team.
- Work as a team member and collaborate with other colleagues within the Aon team.
Encourages Aon's Leadership Model, supports local colleagues, and fosters collaboration within office practices.
Aon's Entertainment Practice is structured to deliver global capabilities locally. We work closely with various clients involved in live events, as well as other firms with media and entertainment exposures- to interpret their needs, using a data-driven approach and technology that collects and analyzes global market data in real time, to support carrier selection and negotiation.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- 3+ years of relevant insurance P&C business experience
- Proven knowledge of Casualty (Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Umbrella/Excess) and Property coverages.
- An understanding of Middle Market P&C risks and carrier appetites.
- Knowledge of Benchmarking and Loss Analysis. Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Relationships with the carriers that write Middle Market P&C business including Sports and Entertainment specialty markets.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Outstanding Microsoft Suite and presentation skills

Pay Transparency Laws
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $85,000 to $110,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Atlanta, GA. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
