Join our Predictive Analytics team within the Business Data & Analytics department! Our Technical Product Managers collaborate with business unit claim and underwriting professionals, as well as departmental data engineering, data science, and actuarial professionals to understand our business challenges and leverage advanced analytics to implement actionable solutions . Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses intellectual curiosity, and can lead and influence without direct authority. They excel in problem-solving and communication skills, thriving in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
This position is located in our Cincinnati office and will work on a hybrid schedule.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities of the Product Team, serving as both Business Unit Liaison and Trusted Advisor in the development of Predictive Analytics, AI, Generative AI, and Machine Learning models
- Facilitate business understanding product development phase to evaluate business unit objectives, organizational structure, financial goals, user workflows, change management considerations, and technological systems.
- Provide business leadership and subject matter expertise in defining product requirements and communicating with technical teams
- Engage with our AI Accelerator Lab to fast-track the development and implementation of high-impact AI solutions
- Develop comprehensive project plans, business documentation, and training materials for end users
- Manage and prioritize timelines and enhancement requests to ensure timely product deliveries
- Cultivate customer relationships and promote clear and effective communication among all stakeholders, key personnel, and executive leadership.
- Steward collaborative engagements with other Great American shared service divisions such as IT, PDC, Legal, and Corporate Claims
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with Property and Casualty Insurance, Underwriting, Claims, or related areas is highly desirable
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, Snowflake or related languages are desirable but not required.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI are desirable but not required.
- Prior product/project management experience is preferred but not required
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
