Description and RequirementsThe Team You Will Join
MetLife Resources (MLR) provides service solutions to U.S.-based employers in the non-profit & government defined contribution marketplace. With over 13,000 plan sponsor customers and 200,000 plan participants, MLR generates approximately $400 million in premiums and $70 million in pre-tax earnings annually. The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to leverage automation and technology to streamline operations, drive impactful change, and contribute to the ongoing success of our business. Success in this role requires strong influencing skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for operational excellence. This position is both a developmental opportunity for the individual and a strategic investment for the organization, bringing in expertise in process improvement and the ability to hold others accountable-even those outside of direct reporting lines. The Account Consultant will manage critical account tasks and drive process enhancements, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead the management of day-to-day account management tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Oversee the maintenance and updating of plan sponsor account records, documentation, and workflows to support seamless operations.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality, utilizing recent technologies and tools when possible
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and ensure accountability for deliverables using solid project management skills.
- Serve as an advocate and a resource for automation and technology adoption, leveraging tools to streamline processes and mentoring colleagues.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to leadership on project status, process improvements, and outcomes.
- Support the professional development of team members by sharing best practices and process insights.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- 3+ years of experience in account management, operations, or process improvement roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and complete multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements - a natural curiosity on how things work and tenacity to learn new things and make them better.
- High degree of initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving ability
- Experience with process automation tools such as PowerAutomate, Alteryx, Power BI, Salesforce, and the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, or related field.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment or with cross-functional teams.
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
