Aon is looking for an Account Advisor. This is a hybrid position- based out of our Fort Washington, PA office.Aon is in the business of better decisions

What the day will look like:
- Review and analyze new business submissions, including applications, loss histories and other supporting documentation.
- Determine acceptability, coverage terms, limits, and pricing in line with underwriting authority and guidelines.
- Apply sound judgment to assess risk exposure, hazard controls, and overall account quality.
- Prepare and document underwriting rationale, including referrals and approvals where required.
- Responsible for utilizing rating tools and input in underwriting systems.
- Consolidate risk profiles into concise presentations to carrier and understanding of program parameters.
- Responsible for maintaining detailed knowledge of carrier forms, products and competitive landscape as well as program strategic direction and growth initiatives.
- Responsible for maintaining strong working knowledge of necessary resources, marketing materials, and available technology.
- Recognize opportunities for process improvements & recommend changes.
- Relay market intelligence to ensure product is positioned versus competition best in the market for continued success.
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
- Valid P&C license
- 3-5+ years of commercial insurance experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Property and Casualty insurance career underwriting experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $55,000 to $62,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
