This role will provide exemplary customer service by managing total absence claims in a timely and accurate fashion.
We're looking for unique talent with fresh perspectives that can propel innovation. In this role, you would be responsible for managing a combination of leaves. These leave types include, but are not limited to, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML), and Benefit Calculated Employer Leave (BCEL) claims.

This team will be working Pacific Time Zone Hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle, review, and administer Family & Medical Leave Act standalone/ADA (as well as other leave) claims and adhere to federal and state regulatory and/or company plan requirements and established FMLA workflow procedures and evaluate against appropriate leave plans and make initial claim decisions.
- Complete eligibility decisions during intake call, gather pertinent data when necessary, from employee or other supporting systems as well as perform leave follow-ups as required, including recertification of health condition, intermittent claim tracking, RTW confirmation, etc.
- Update systems to accurately reflect leave status and ensure appropriate diary documentation exists.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-2 years. related experience and strong customer satisfaction focus and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Demonstrated critical thinking in activities requiring analysis, investigation, and/or planning.
- Strong Letter writing/Microsoft Word skills.
- This role has mandatory paid training starting on April 27th. Candidates must be available for all training days.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-2 years of experience managing ADA, FMLA, or Absence Management.
- Knowledge of system applications and Disability claims knowledge/working knowledge of FMLA/Disability/Leave procedures preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in one or more leave State and Federal Leave Laws.
The expected salary range for this position is 49,500 - 55,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
