POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, drafts, reviews, and edits plan certificates and benefit contracts. Provides basic benefit plan consulting services, and coordinates the accurate and timely completion of all required benefit plan documentation. Ensures drafting of all legislatively mandated booklets and contracts requested by plan sponsors. Executes thorough review of documents in order to avoid any unintended liablility on the part of both the organization and the plan sponsor. Responsible for contract preparation for mailing and retaning filing details and supporting documentation. Interprets and utilizes available resources in responding to standard and non-standard benefit drating requests. Prepares language modification, when appropriate, to comply with regulatory requirements. Performs all contract maintenance duties including prepartation for mailing and retaining documentation. Provides overall timely and accurate set-up of plan benefits and structure, contracts, and certificates into Aetna systems to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
